These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Book My Artist ("we", "us", "our"), a marketplace operated by Music Maniac that connects clients with live artists and entertainment performers across India. By creating an account, browsing artists, making an offer, or listing a profile, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

"Client" means a user who requests or books an artist. "Artist" means a performer or group who lists services. "Booking" means a confirmed engagement between a Client and an Artist. "Deposit" means the advance payment required to confirm a Booking.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Artists create profiles describing their act, pricing, and media. All artist profiles are manually reviewed by our admin team before they appear publicly. We may reject, suspend, or remove profiles that are misleading, incomplete, or that violate these Terms. Verified badges indicate admin approval, not an endorsement of performance quality.

Clients may make offers and negotiate prices with artists. Artists may set a minimum acceptable price that constrains the negotiation range. The displayed "Starting" price is the artist's public starting price. An offer is not a booking until both parties agree and the Client pays the required deposit.

To confirm a booking, the Client pays a 50% advance deposit through our payment partner Razorpay. The remaining balance is payable as agreed (typically on or before the event day). Until the deposit is paid, the booking is not confirmed and artist contact details remain hidden. Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (₹).

Book My Artist charges a platform commission on each booking, deducted from the artist's payout. The prevailing commission rate is shown in the platform settings and may be updated by us. The client pays the agreed booking amount; the commission is settled between the platform and the artist.

To protect both parties and prevent platform bypass, personal contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email) of the artist are hidden until the booking is confirmed and the deposit is paid. Messaging within the platform is available only after a booking is confirmed.

Only clients with a completed booking may submit a review. Reviews are tied to a verified booking. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise violate our guidelines.

You agree not to: bypass the platform to transact directly off-platform; share contact details before a confirmed booking; submit false or misleading information; harass other users; or misuse the payment or dispute systems. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

We operate a warning system for policy violations. Accumulating three warnings may result in automatic suspension of an account. Suspended accounts cannot list, receive offers, or transact until reinstated.

All content on Book My Artist — branding, design, text — is owned by us or our licensors. Artist-uploaded media remains owned by the artist, who grants us a licence to display it for the purpose of operating the platform.

Book My Artist is a marketplace facilitator. We are not a party to the performance contract between Client and Artist. We are not liable for the conduct, quality, or non-performance of any artist or client. Our liability is limited to the platform commission earned on the relevant booking, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We encourage parties to first attempt resolution through our in-app dispute process.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
