Book My Artist, a venture by Music Maniac, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to clients, artists, and visitors of the platform operating in India.

Account information: name, email, phone number, and city when you register.

Profile information: artists provide stage name, real name, city, genres, media, pricing, bank details, and contact details.

Booking information: event details, venue, offers, negotiation history, and payment records.

Usage data: device, browser, and interaction data collected automatically.

We use your information to: operate the marketplace, verify artist profiles, process bookings and payments, facilitate communication, send notifications and reminders, prevent fraud and platform bypass, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.

To prevent off-platform transactions, artist contact details are masked and only revealed to the client after a booking is confirmed and the deposit is paid. We do not display personal phone numbers, WhatsApp, or email publicly.

Payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials. Payment data is handled by Razorpay in accordance with its privacy and security standards and RBI guidelines.

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.

We share information only as necessary to operate the platform: with the counterparty in a booking after confirmation, with Razorpay for payments, and with authorities when legally required. We never sell your personal data.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure; we continuously work to improve safeguards.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can also close your account at any time, after which certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business records.

The platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us so we can remove the account.

We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active and thereafter as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
